    THE bridge or sea link project was initiated more than 10 years ago in 1999 and was supposed to be completed within 5 years but it was delayed due to public interest litigations. The foundation stone was laid in 1999, by Shiv Sena supremo Bal Thackeray.The bridge has 8 lanes of road traffic and in that 2 lanes for only buses.The total estimation of this project is 1600 crore rupees.It has reduced the traffic and made the people to go to one end to other end in 10 min which was suppose to be 45 min earlier.The look of this bridge or sea link is high light.


    The sea link made the distance between two cities smaller.And i love and wanted to travel on this bridge and i think every body will like to have ride on this amazing bridge.so thanks for the government.
