The famous juhu beach witnessed yet another oil vessel grounding. An oil vessel suffered drifting towards the juhu beach as a result of the engine failure. The Coast guard have undertaken the desired actions.

An oil tanker carrying nearly 10 tonnes of fuel and 10 tonnes of gas oil today faced some engine failure leading to its being grounded at the Juhu beach Mumbai.
The engine room got flooded after the ship suffered a technical failure and as a result it drifted from Ras Al Madrakh in Oman. Over a time of two months, this is the second such incident of oil vessel crash at Juhu beach Mumbai.

However no oil leak or any such environmental hazard has not been reported but still assessments are being carried out regarding the serious matter.

Two days ago also the coast guard rescued some people from another vessel after receiving the emergency distress call from the 70 meters long ship and 13 crew members were taken to Gujarat coast after the rescue operation.

The coast guard sent a helicopter along with a vessel for doing the necessary for the ship and for carrying out the desired assessment of the situation, No damage to the vessel has been done due to this incident as reported.

The earlier such incident occurred last month at the same Juhu beach when a ship struck here and was removed from the famous beach of Juhu after more than 15 days.
