Mumbai rocked by three bomb blasts

The article throws some light upon the triple blasts in Mumbai that have come upon over the eve of the birthday of Kasab, the lone surviving terrorist of 2008 Mumbai attacks and has rocked three major populated areas taking 21 lives and leaving 141 injured.

Terror has again taken its head out in Mumbai as three continuous blasts jolted the commercial capital of India yesterday within a span of 14 minutes spreading a sudden chaos in the city.
All the three blasts in Mumbai were carried out in the crowded places of the city aiming at maximising the number of casualties. Seems like militants succeeded in celebrating the Birthday of Kasab taking into account the terror that has once again gripped the city.

At least 21 people were killed and 141 others injured as per the Deputy Chief Minister of Mumbai. The causalities of the Mumbai blasts are quite high and so is the fear that the city people are drenching with following these deadly reminders of 2008 Mumbai attacks that left 166 dead.
Union Home Minister P Chidambram also visited Mumbai to meet the injured and their families and while commenting on this situation he said that the attacks were properly organised and coordinated.

Three Explosions in Mumbai

All the three explosions were IED triggered. The first blast in Zaveri Bazar was at 6:50, it is a popular jewellery market of Mumbai and the second blast at Opera house is said to be the strongest of all three. The blast at opera house was triggered just a minute after the Zaveri market blast and aimed a popular business establishment of the city. At 7:04 pm, the third blast at the crowded Dadar area took place.

All three blasts in Mumbai occurred between 6:50 pm and 7:00 pm. The blast in Zaveri Bazaar was done with an IED kept under an umbrella taking the advantage of the rains and the loads of umbrellas being used.
While the blast at Dadar utilised Maruti Esteem inside which the IED had been planted. The after-effects of the Mumbai blasts were quite disastrous as blood covered bodies lied at the blast sites and people were rushing away from the hostile sites. The Dadar hospital was nearly over crowded due to the large rush of injured people from two of the nearby sites.

People were stranded in long queues while they waited for their turn to look for any known among the injured. Many among them were also helping out the hospital authorities and several others donated their blood also.
Delhi was also put at red alert following this sequence of bombings in the financial capital.

Politicians gave their deep regrets over the three blasts in Mumbai

All the Political leaders and ministers have expressed their strong grief over this shocking incident and people f Mumbai have been asked to maintain a state of calm and not to panic but in such a situation panic and fear both have gripped the city and the people.
The president also gave her statement grieving the situation and expressing her deepest condolences for the victims of these back to back attacks and she also wished for the speedy recovery of the injured in the Mumbai blasts.
