M.S. Dhoni, Captain of CSK won the toss and chose to bat first. Gautam Gambir, Captain of KKR was happy to bowl.

Aniruddha Shrikant played very well and scored quickly 64 runs in 55 balls and with the support of M.S.Dhoni, Raina and Kallis and Yusuf Pathan CSK completed the score of 153/4.

KKR chased CSK very brilliantly but unfortunately lost the game over a very narrow margin with score 151/7. If Gautam Gambir played in his usual form, KKR could have easily chased CSK. But that's the way Cricket goes. No one can predict anything.

Chennai Super Kings won the match by just 2 runs.

It was a pity to see Yusuf Pathan dropping a catch, which could have fetched him an award of Karbonn Kamaal catch worth Rs.1 lac.

Aniruddha Shrikant - Man of the Match

Aniruddha Shrikant was declared as Man of the Match and also awarded for hitting the most sixes.

Since it was a match with only 20 overs, the game went-on very fast and ended without making the viewers bored.
