Navin Nischol Bollywood Film and TV Actor Biography
Bollywood film and TV Actor Navin Nischol was born on March 18th, 1946. He did his schooling at Rashtriya Military School Bangalore and college at King George Royal India Military College Bangalore. He was the first gold medal winner from the Film and Television Institute of India.
Navin Nischol's first film 'Sawan Bhadon' in 1970 with actress Rekha was directed by Mohan Segal where he was labelled as the poorman's Rajesh Khanna. He became popular with box office hit 'Buddha Mil Gaya'(1971). After that he has given many hit films one such was the comedy film 'Victoria NO.203' in the year 1972 which was followed my many films which includes 'Hanste Zakhm'(1973), 'Dharma'(1973), 'Dhund' (1973), 'Paise Ki Gudiya' (1974) etc. His performance in the film 'Saboot'(1980) is worthy to point out.
Later he turned his film career from big screen to television and the popular TV Serial of Navin Nischol was 'Dekh Bhai Dekh' with co-stars Shekar Suman, Sushma Seth and Farida Jalal was a great hit and success to him. His next silver screen acting was on 'Khosla Ka Ghosla' (2006) and his last release was 'Break Ke Baad' (2010) where he played the role of a father to Imran Khan.
Navin Nischol died of heart attack at his residence in suburban Mumbai on 19th March 2011. Many actors and actress of bollywood industry have paid their respect to Nischol and and they have expressed their grief by leaving a note on Navin Nischol's twitter account.
