Cathode Ray Tube details are-

CRT stands for Cathode Ray Tube.

The three basic phosphor colors are red,green and blue.

Resolution refers to the density of screen image.

Pixels are dots or picture elements.

The maximum supported resolution is 1800 by 1440.

Dot pitch is thediagonal distance between two phosphors of same colors .

Grill pitch is horizontal distance between phosphors strides.

The scan rate refers to the speed at which a screen is repainted.

The standard flicker-free rate is 75-hz or above.

Non-interlaced monitors are better because they paint the screen in one pass instead of two
