Greatness of Dr Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar
Ambedkar Jayanti is famous all over India. The full name of Ambedkar is Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar. There are lots of great things to discuss about the great Ambedkar since he is known as the "Father of Indian Constitution". Dr B R Ambedkar was born on April 14 in the year 1891 at Military Headquarter of war (MHOW) in the Madhya Pradesh. His contributions to the Indian constitutions are great since he was the architect of the Indian constitution. His contribution to the society is also excellent and he is praised and remembered by many people.
For the development of the people who are in the deprived section in the society he has given his life full dedications. In other words we can tell that he has dedicated all his life for the betterment of the people who suffer. He is well known as the social reformer by the people of India and also by the people of various countries. As a great reformer he has done many great things to the people and also he has given his best part of contributions to the freedom struggle by playing a significant role.
Protest against Untouchability
In the history of India untouchables were not treated properly and there was a stupid rule followed that the untouchables should not acquire any proper education so they were suppressed. Dr Ambedkar broke these impossibilities and came out with the college education in India and it can be said that he is the first person to acquire college education in India. After finishing his college studies here in India he had a plan to go to abroad and finish his higher studies and in the same way he went to United States and England in order to pursue the higher studies.
He acquired a law degree from the foreign country and also earned multiple doctorates for his researches. His doctorates also include the researches in the political science and the economics. Returning to the home country after the acquiring of doctorate and the law degree, he practiced the law for few years. He was also recognized as very famous scholar by the people. After that he began to publish the journals stating about the political rights and the political issues. His next work was the focus on the betterment of the poor people and the clearing of the untouchables in India. Then he started protesting for the social freedom for untouchables in India.
The whole life of Dr Ambedkar was spent in fighting against the untouchability and he was trying a lot to eradicate the caste system in India. There are many people who followed his protest and gave hand to him. He was also given a good credit for sparking the Dalit Buddhist movement. His works on the caste system eradications are great spoken. Dr Ambedkar was elected as the chairman of the drafting committee that was constituted by the constituent assembly in order to design a constitution for the independence of India. There is also one greater thing to be noted that is, he was the first law minister of India.
