Best Of Five percentage in Maharshtra education

Government of Maharashtra came out with a new formula for the admission of students for 11th std due to a lot of talks about the injustice on the students of the state board. According to the formula, the percentage marks of a student will be calculated by taking the best five marks he/she has obtained. The motto was that students of state board will be able to compete with the CBSE/ICSE students.
Then CBSE/ICSE board people appealed against the decision in the supreme court. Now as per the settlement on the issue, students from all boards can apply according to the "Best Of Five".
But the issue is now as per the ICSE board pattern subjects are classified into 3 groups. First group contains subjects like English,Social studies etc. And the second group contains Maths-Science or Maths-Economics.Finally last group has subjects including Economic application,Physical education etc. in which 50 out of 100 marks are given internally. So lot of people score in that group. But according to decision from supreme court, they have calculated best of five percentage considering subjects from first two groups only.
Hence percentages of many people have reduced. So most of them are preferring total aggregate percentage.
