Recent fantastic improvement in the Vasai-Virar area after the Nagarpalika has taken over. Finally monsoon has arrived in Mumbai Suburb. It is continuously raining for the last two days. Ever since Vasai-Virar Nagarpalika has taken over the area, lot of improvements are observed. Cleaning up of drains, cutting taller trees to prevent overhead electrical wires bursting, have all been done well in advance. In Vasai and Virar Sky walks are being constructed. One way roads are being organised. Many local new electric trains with 15 coaches have been introduced. Frequency of trains have also been increased. Thus making commuters from Virar to Churchgate more comfortable. Shuttles from various stations in between Virar to Churchgate have been introduced. Many Multiplexes and Malls have come up in these suburbs and such facilities make the public more comfortable to live in the outskirts of Mumbai.
